In addition, you are responsible for managing business relationships with the assigned clients and developing a strategic partnership that facilitates and supports sound financial management decision-making in achieving key business interests and priorities while promoting a corporate perspective to the stewardship of resources. You are expected to play a key role as senior financial strategist to the client group in advancing and supporting evolving business requirements and financial resources, and developing effective funding strategies to address financial challenges and pressures. As a senior specialist, you provide mentoring and coaching to junior financial advisors, and make recommendations to the Deputy Director in regard to new policy and process requirements.</p><p>The ideal person:<br />As the ideal person, you possess strong business relationship management skills to consult and provide strategic and practical financial advice to support key players within the House of Commons Administration, Members of Parliament, House Officers and their staff. You have strong analytical skills and you are dedicated to establishing and maintaining harmonious and collaborative relations with colleagues and other stakeholders in order to effectively deliver guidance and services in an environment that requires diplomacy and tact. You are able to bring creative and tangible solutions to solve challenging situations. Consideration may be given to candidates with other linguistic profiles.<div class="PostingEssentialInformation"><ul><li>&quot;Significant*&quot; experience will be evaluated based on the depth and breadth of the experience associated with having performed a broad range of various and complex related activities at the advisory level (ADG-C or FI-02 equivalent) over a minimum period of two (2) years.</li><li>’’Senior Management**’’ is defined as a manager occupying a position at the EX-01 group and level, equivalent or above. </li><li>**Effective November 22, 2021, all individuals entering the Parliamentary Precinct are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID 19, unless accommodated based on a medical contraindication. Individuals are considered to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 fourteen (14) days after they have received the recommended doses of one vaccine or combination of vaccines approved by Health Canada.</li><li>**As part of the application process, candidates will be asked to identify their vaccination status.
